Why should someone have Permanent Makeup?

Why not!
Permanent Cosmetics is perfect for the busy person/professional who has little to no time to apply conventional makeup, those who like to wake up with a fresh..natural look, eyebrow symmetry, the athlete who wants to look natural, Alopecia sufferers, those with medical conditions that cause their hands to shake, areola re-pigmentation after breast reconstruction/cancer, vision problems, or those that have allergic reactions to over the counter makeup products..but mostly for convenience!

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup is the process which sterile hypoallergenic cosmetic pigments are placed under the dermal layer of the skin using single use individual disposable sterile needles.  The areas to be treated are numbed using topical anesthetics to make your experience a pleasant one.

Is it really permanent?

NO... I use only the finest permanent makeup products/pigments and they will soften/fade in color over time....typically 1-5 yrs.  The natural elements, anti-aging creams, sun exposure, sweating, tanning beds and just age of the permanent makeup, without question, will fade in time.  It is recommended to get color boosts to freshen up the Permanent Makeup to maintain its natural look.

What is the recovery/healing time?

Healing time varies from person to person.  With proper topical anesthetics & numbing,  swelling will be very minimal and typically there is no bleeding involved with my procedures.  I provide each client with Vaseline for the aftercare and written instructions. DO NOT PUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE VASELINE ON YOUR BROWS DURING THE 10 DAY HEALING PERIOD. NO LOTIONS..MAKEUP...CREAMS..NOTHING.  The Vaseline should be applied very thinly and not caked on or too thick....if you see it....you have to much on. If too much Vaseline is applied to the eyes, it will irriate them...so more is not better....thin is it!!!! The treated area will begin to soften/lighten up within 3-10 days...and it is recommended to have your touch-up appointment any time after 8 weeks following your original procedure.  Schedule Permitting.

Hair Stroke Technique

Hair Stoke technique is when the Specialist implants the pigment into the skin in hair-like strokes giving the appearance of hair.  This technique is becoming more common and popular in the Permanent Makeup Industry.  Keep in mind that this technique will require color boosts every 1-2 yrs to maintain it's natural appearance...the hair strokes with time will fade, and can blurr out or bleed together with age and time if the recommended color boosts aren't done. They will need to be refreshed to bring them to their desired color. This is universal.
